Managing Director - Casablanca

Sjovik Morocco SA was created in 2004 by the Norwegian group Sjovik as in partnership with Moroccan investors.

Poste :

As a Managing Director, you have to guide the business into the future with planned growth ensuring that all stated objectives, aims and targets are met and lead to the overall Company Goal.

 

Your main responsibilities are:

  • Day-to-day financial control of the business
  • Relations with organizations and Clients for which the Company conducts work, including the involvement   in design of new projects, as applicable.
  • Ensuring that the business is run in compliance with the Companies' act.
  • Briefing staff on all relevant aspects of the Company business.
  • Determining the Company Policies with regard to Quality, Health &Safety and the Environment   and ensuring that these are communicated and understood.
  • Ensuring that the vessel operates according to laws and regulations in Morocco.
  • Undertaking   the role of Management System Representative ensuring  that the Management System  (internal control)  is implemented  reviewed,  maintained,  and where  possible continually improved.
  • Chairing  monthly  meeting  with Directors  and Supervisors,  and be responsible  for facilitating quarterly  Board  Meetings  together  with the President  with agenda
  • Responsible   for employment  of personnel,  and ensure that employing  people  in the position of managers  that this is approved from the Norwegian management
  • Produce monthly  and quarterly reports to the management  in Norway and to the President (the President  and Managing  Director  is part of the Management  team of the company  together  with the Norwegian management)

Profil recherché :

Academic degree or equivalent in engineering

 

At least 5 to 10 years Strong and successful professional experience in an executive management role preferred in the fishing industry environment, ideally in an international company.
