ORH Assessment is looking to recruit a Sales General Manager for a Multinational Company operating in the Automotive Sector.

Poste :

Reporting to the General Manager, the main role of the Sales General Manager is to define and implement the global sales strategy of the national company (Morocco) in accordance with the Group, and to lead and develop the sales force of the division.

The main tasks of this position are the following :

Strategy & budget

  • Develops and implements strategic sales plans and forecasts to achieve Business objectives for new vehicles and used cars
  • Directs sales forecasting activities and sets performance goals accordingly
  • Delivers market share and gross margin objectives as per the corporate strategy of the company
  • Defines and oversees an long term network capillarity strategy
  • Oversees and implements a corporate fleet strategy

Sales/Administration process & Projects

  • Elaborates and oversees the sales department operational and administrative processes
  • Leads Problem Solving (PS) projects as per company agenda and facilitate QCC projects

Market intelligence

  • Analyzes sales and customer satisfaction surveys results
  • Monitors competition activities and pricing
  • Establishes tactical sales countermeasures to face competition plans
  • Recommends product positioning, and pricing strategy to the marketing department to reach aspired market share

Network management & partnership

  • Makes sure that the POS teams have the needed sales tools to properly deliver their tasks
  • Detects and proposes opportunities of new dealers as per network capillarity strategy
  • Oversees account management of existing dealers
  • Maintains a good relationship and intimacy with branches and dealers

Management & Governance

  • Creates a motivational climate in order to maximize the contribution of sales force
  • Directs staffing, training and performance evaluation of the division’s associates
  • Directs regular meetings and proper and timely reporting from the team as per sales management instructions
  • Provides regular reporting to GM
  • Elaborates and oversees the division’s balanced scorecard (BSC)

Profil recherché :

  • Master degree, ideally MBA in Business administration
  • 10 years experience at least
  • Experience in Automotive Companies
  • Experience in managing large teams, both operational and functional teams
