Poste :

As the Manager for communications and marketing for the IsDB’s Morocco  regional hub, you are responsible for all the activities related to your department.

Your Key accountabilities are :

  • Creating strategic campaigns across communications and marketing for IsDB in Morocco and the region.
  • Delivering strong external communications regarding the IsDB’s work at the hub, in the wider region and across its 57 member countries.
  • Editorial relations - Must have very good relations with regional media and proven delivery record of securing interviews and feature stories with “earned” editorial media in order to reach IsDB’s key stakeholders.
  • Delivering a robust marketing strategy through mainstream and social media to raise the profile of IsDB’s work in the hub and region amongst its key stakeholders.
  • Leading on internal communications within hub, between hub and other offices including IsDB HQ
  • Devising and delivering strong social media campaigns, and ability to run channels including twitter, facebook, Linked In, Instagram. Must have proven record in this area.
  • Production of excellent quality written content, to include press releases, pamphlets, social media content, articles.
  • Project managing events, summits and conferences in the region, to include speaker recruitment and liaison, media strategy, delegates, protocol, managing event production agencies, marketing materials.
  • Ensuring consistency of key messaging externally and internally – updating key messaging documents, talking points for IsDB speakers, briefing notes.
  • Planning and delivering media campaigns for IsDB leadership tours, placing opinion pieces, news stories and feature articles around IsDB key events,
  • Reactive support such as managing incoming enquiries, crisis management and arranging interviews with IsDB spokespeople.  
  • Ensuring consistency of design and branding across regional hub

Profil recherché :

You have Degree in communications or other relevant field.

You have more than 10 years of relevant experience in communications and marketing with at least 3+ years in a senior role for a global organisation or business, with demonstrated success.

  • Good understanding of the global and regional communications landscape
  • Experience of project management and team management
  • Strong social and digital campaign experience
